The problem
OSPRI sells in-house PCR testing to healthcare providers. The offering is technically dense — assay science, lab operations, panel design, proforma financials — and the buyers are not lab scientists.
Background
OSPRI is an infectious disease lab services company that helps healthcare providers bring PCR testing in-house, integrating clinical and non-clinical infrastructure.
The material had to make a technically dense offering — assay science, lab operations, panel design, proforma financials — legible to hospital and provider-group decision-makers.
Objectives
- 01
Make a technical offering legible to hospital and provider-group decision-makers
- 02
Carry a full sales argument without a presenter in the room
- 03
Present the company at the level its claims require
Audience: Hospital and provider-group executives evaluating bringing diagnostics in-house.
Process
Planning, strategy, execution.
- 01Planning
Building the argument before the slides
Planning established the reading order — what a decision-maker needs to accept first before the next claim can land.
- Sequenced landscape, solution, technology, business-in-a-box, proforma, panels
- Separated what must be proven from what can be summarised
- Set the constraint that no slide should require prior lab knowledge
- 02Strategy
Replace density with structure
The strategy converted paragraph-heavy technical content into repeatable structural devices a reader can scan.
- Numbered solution frameworks in place of prose
- Comparison layouts to carry competitive claims
- Consistent data treatments so figures read the same way throughout
- 03Execution
A deck that carries the sale
Execution produced a long-form corporate overview and sales deck usable in-room and as a leave-behind.
- Corporate overview and contents structure
- Technology, comparison and business-in-a-box sections
- Proforma and panel detail set to the same system
Creative approach
The narrative is sequenced from current landscape to solution, technology, business-in-a-box, proforma and panels, so a reader can follow the argument without prior lab knowledge.
Numbered solution frameworks, comparison layouts and consistent data treatments replace paragraph-heavy slides, keeping technical claims scannable.
